Javadoc Support

The wizard allows javadoc to be specified, if the default javadoc is not sufficient. Javadoc can be added for fields, methods and classes. Javadoc entered for a field will also be generated for the field's get and set methods. So minimising the amount of javadoc to enter.

Class file javadoc can use simple macros to insert date, time and JDabase Wizard build version. like so:

• <%=J3Date%> inserts the date
• <%=J3Time%> inserts the time
• <%=J3Build%> inserts the build number of JDatabase Wizard
• <%=J3Version%> inserts the Version number of JDatabase Wizard

Whenever a javadoc dialog is left blank, the wizard generates default javadoc documentation for the item.

Javadoc buttons are used sometimes to pop up a javadoc dialog. The image on the button states if there is javadoc, or if there is no javadoc. By pressing the button, the following dialog is displayed:
